I just got back from a visit with my doctor. I actually have two doctors, they are both wonderful women and I can't even begin to express how thankful I am for them!
My doc was very helpful, she weighed me and said that, really, I'm now quite a healthy BMI (she also commented on how fit I'm looking, which was pretty awesome). She advised me to eat more than I have been and stop worrying so much about calories so that I don't lose weight too quickly. She also said that I might want to cut my workouts down a little, so today I am just going to do push ups, yoga and a mini dance practice.
She thinks it would be best if I only try to lose ten pounds tops and if I want to lose more I should see her again and maybe talk to a counselor about my reasons for weight loss, she is very anti losing weight to look thin, perhaps because many of her patients are young women and she does end up treating quite a few who have eating disorders. I love her, she and my other doc have both been such a positive influence in my life.
Wow this was long!
I hope everyone is doing really well I wish everyone lots of luck in trying to be as healthy as they can be :)
