Diddlee's Journal, 17 September 2019

This is my kind of 'biscuit'. Been lifting weights for about three hours, and feel I need a snack. Just had two of these 10oz mixed meat patties... Feel good to get a good day of lifting in.

A stupid question. How the f*** do you get to stay up lifting for that long? I fall down after 1.5 max. Like I can barely move.

I don’t need to wait that much to eat shit. But I believe if you resist that long, you should add in terms of resistance.

velvetee I tried to reduce the time used on lifting by pushing myself extra hard. It didn't work. Not sure, but believe this comes from being fueled by fat, and not the weaker carb fuel.

chrisw77 I probably have a handicap by being limited to a flatbench, dumbbells and a Concept 2. In a proper gym, I imagine it would much easier to get properly exhausted much quicker. Work with what I got.

chrisw77 Carbs make me weak. Tried recently, and was shocked by how soon my drive to lift died.

chrisw77 Appreciate that you see it like that. I mean, not pushing for the need of a gym. You describe what I do with I got. See results from it, and it makes me go on with it. For me health is #1, bulk... not so important.
