Well, ya got me. 😀 i usually stay out of these, but this one triggered me. The human body is not a machine or a simple math problem, it is way more complex than that. We all know (at least us women) that sometimes hormones cause us to crave calorie-dense foods intensely, which cause weight gain. Links between sleep, stress, cortisol and weight gain/obesity are well known. I am not a doctor, but come on, common sense! Not saying "hormones" is a license to eat yourself into a food coma whenever you want, but understanding the process behind stress eating, period cravings, etc is better, imo, than just blaming myself and beating myself up for being a fat loser with no self discipline. I am not a doctor, but my father was one. Once he told me and my mom that menstrual cramps were all in our head, because 1950s science. We laughed right in his face (which we did not normally do). Come on!!!

Yes we might get cravings to eat a certain type of food. And eating that food will cause weight gain.

But people that get those same craving and decide to eat 100 grams of watermelon 🍉 and people that decide to eat 100grams of pizza have a different outcome.

P.s. 100 grams of watermelon you will have used 300 calories n get so full that u won’t even think about eating more

Well yeah, it is the actual ingesting of the food that causes weight gain... if that was your point...

I’m not gonna lie if I crave pizza I eat it, usually 2 slices, at most 3. But I feel I overeat when I eat 3.
