you use the dumbbells 👌 alot better then bars in my opinion

I zoomed the pic, that’s why I look like I’m close to the dumbbells. I only used the Smith machine

That would make my day, a sweating bullets pic from the lift weights faster for cardio club hahahaha. You should start using dumbbells, Smith machine is ok but doesn't work any support or stabilising muscles.

Machines and the Smith are fine for building muscle. I love dumbbells as well. I love using both.

Smith machine is good if you go heavy without a spotter outside that I'm not a big fan. Each to their own though, they definitely do have a place in the gym. Definitely a safe machine if set up correctly, hard to do yaself a mischief.

dumbbells when possible will always beat a bar in my opinion. both sides have to work the same

I miss lifting. I don't think I could even lift the bar right now though...forget weights, I'm too wimpy! Someday though I will get back to it. Right now I only lift myself, although that is a LOT of weight. When I get skinny I will have to add weight to myself and continue lifting it lol! I will get there!!

Really Keith? I only have dumbbells but was considering a bar. I have a home ‘gym.’ So no need?

No need. Dumbbells can be all you need. They just need to be heavy enough for progressive overload over time as you get stronger. High reps won't do much at a certain point(over 20 reps) besides help you maintain the muscle you build and for burning calories.
