Day 2 of a planned 2 days of ‘water fasting’ Blood sugar 98 mg/dL
I-am-not-hungry.
Seriously, not a twinge of hunger. I had no problem doing a three mile run before work then working hard all day. My energy started to go down for 2 hours in the evening, but then it went up and I had to take a huge dose of melatonin to get to sleep. I am taking my electrolyte concentrate and a fistful of vitamins each morning...
The key, for me, is to wake up and not eat anything. Reduce calorie consumption to zero. Hunger comes only in response to blood sugar falling after eating.
I simply do-not-need-to-eat. My body will simply burn fat. The only negative of this, is my weight will drop. I could lose 20-30 pounds before I should even get concerned about losing too much weight.
..and yeah, I’m trying to lose weight 😊 It is actually kinda simple: Eat to gain weight or maintain weight, and, ‘Don’t Eat’, to lose weight.
It looks like I am going to have to water fast a few days every week this month because I have multiple 3 day weekends this month. In the past 6 months, my data shows, I gain HUGE on a three day weekend... because-I-eat-a-lot :)
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@chrisw77 - I'm actually trying to lose... but, I have holidays coming up so I will gain (sigh). Anyway, when I finally DO lose the weight, I will then start a 'bulk' so, for me, there is no 'maintenance' :)

Great job on the fast! And sleeping was also an issue for me during night 2 and 3 for me. It will probably balance out as you go on with it.
