If you are going to go keto why not just go 20 carbs and get a lift from ketosis? Anyways good luck. Pats?? Why not. I think I am watching curling today

Well, yeah if you know what works for you better that is just great. I kind of do Atkins as well but with 20. But yeah some people do better with more.

Yes Liv, I am probably amongst the 1% that needs more carbs. The reason why I don't do Keto is that I need at least 75-90 carbs a day to stay energetic. @Debsue420 proud of you doing inside cycles everyday!

For now, to concentrate on achieving my weight and health goals, keto has become "THE" way. But it wasn't easy getting to this point. I've only been able to get down to 20g net carbs per day by careful planning a day in advance; concentrating on high-fiber/low-carb vegetables (asparagus, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli); an avocado a day (a "fruit" nutrition-wise and very high-fiber -- great net carb count); rare low-carb-only berries for fruit; and occasional bouillon for sodium supplementation. I love being able to eat butter and bacon, and I even plan a chocolate treat occasionally.

what's everyone's opinion on this diet, keto? I've been doing it for like 2 weeks. today I ate chicken legs, collards. I've cut out rice, bread, pasta, anything with grain and carbs and no sugar, am I doing this right?
