Try potatoes, and bananas, potato’s are resistant startches which help control blood sugar levels and will help keep you full, has potassium which can help with vasodilation (opening blood vessels) which may (just a guess) may help with increasing blood flow to the scalp for the hair dealio. Also good source of magnesium, calcium, and other health benefits. Bananas, more potassium, and fiber, another resistant starch with healthy benefits also.

I have heard of this happening while eating keto. I started taking Biotin after finding out a friend of mine who has always had thin hair was using it. Sorry if it's a repeat suggestion.

Proteins is the first thing that comes to mind. Protein originate from Greek, and basically means first. Our most essential food.

Did you have a complete thyroid test? It should have included: T3,T3RU, T4, and TSH. Your TSH should be between 0.1 and 2.0. Some doctors will say your thyroid is normal with higher than the 2.0. You should have also had an ultrasound of the thyroid to check for nodules. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Until I went to a competent Endocrinologist, my TSH was at 4.0 and was told this was normal.

This is only my opinion, from my own experience. I might be wrong but will say anyway-Staying on low carb and going to gym , causes body distress after several weeks. People are different, for some is ok but other can have “ side effects “..

Add biotin as a supplement. My Dietician explained diet and weight loss. When we restrict intake your body will use what’s available in order of importance.
Brain and organs first and skin hair and nails are last on the list to receive nutrition
Malnutrition is the cause and you might feel you eat enough but it’s your body showing you that it’s lacking.

It's quite common after loosing considerable amount of weight. It will get better now your weight loss has stabilised. It's called telogen effluvium. Gouldlilocks is right.. try supplement of extra biotin. You'll have your lucious locks back in a few months. Bone broth too, or take powered collagen if you don't want meaty bone broth simmering for hours in the summer!
