I make my own popsicles— I have found lots of great recipes over the years. They probably would not work for keto people but they are delicious, HEALTHIER than many of the alternatives and everyone seems to like them. I bought cantaloupe to day for a new recipe— cantaloupe/hibiscus popsicle and the second one will be mango. Found them on the internet.

For Keto I’d use kool aid and sweeten with Splenda and freeze.

Chef— do they freeze ok with the Splenda? I also make ice cream and I did try Splenda for that and I did not think it to be very successful.

Looking for substitutes to forbidden foods and finding them is so satisfying, we do not have to eat the offerings of the food manufactures who are out to make us fat and unhealthy. Good for you and keep it up.

Mary Lou— you are so right. Manufacturers quickly respond to the changes in public tastes and demands. They only continue to manufacture what they can sell. Look at the diet ice creams, low carb products, thin sliced breads, rise in organics, etc. we do have control of this issue we just don’t fully exercise our power.
