Good morning. Yesterday was not a good food day. STarted off my ay by going to the gym and had an awesome workout. Came home, had a protein shake, vitamins etc. ot ready to go to my brother in laws birthday party. Conversation dwindled pretty quickly and there was nothing left to do but eat and drink. Unfortunately, there was nothing there that I could really eat or trust eating because I didn't know what was in the sauces etc. So i stuck with my water and ate my salad. I was really hungry by the time we were leaving. I didn't cheat but I also did't eat so that is bad too.

When I got home, I had a house full of people to feed for dinner and it was almost 5pm by this time. I had some frozen meatballs so I made pasta, swuce and garlic bread...AGAIN nothing I could eat. By this time, I jus wasn't hungry. I did eat 10 pistachios in there somewhere but had no desire to eat.....STUPID...niothing like blowing out the flame on your metabolism...UGH...

I am not a big fan of breakfast first thing in the morning but this morning, I made myself eat a meal and not a shake. Back on track today....I think not eating is almost as bad as cheating but at least you don't throw yourself out of ketosis and go through those crazy cravings again....

I know what you mean about not eating - when I did the exercise from The Beck Diet Solution where you skip a meal for the day it through off my metabolism for a day or so. But I guess it was worth learning what I learned from that experience about hunger not being an emergency...

I am so proud that you "GET IT" even if you don't always follow IT. Better than a cheat I say...

I say, good job with self control. Just need to learn to prepare better...that is always a hard part...packing yourself a salad, or sticking a cheese stick in your purse or whatever. I am working on this. When I was doing net carbs it was easier... throw an Atkins bar in my purse...but I was unknowingly halting my weighloss and ketosis! But I must say...WOW...look at your weight history! You are doing AWESOME!
