My dinner, spaghetti squash. I prefer my spaghetti squash Sweet, so I used Stevia, and I also put I can’t believe it’s not butter light margarine spread on it. A little salt and pepper. I am in heaven. Under 300 cal for half a squash.

Kay, while I agree that some of the points weren’t made in the most positive manner, I really believe people were and are trying to be helpful and healthful. LOL Margarine in all its forms as well as vegetable shortenings or any other ‘hydrogenated’ oil that starts as a protein base like soybeans converts to become frothy chemical terror MSG. LOL 😆 So it was meant, I think, probably in good faith. I raised my eyebrows on seeing you’d used margarine as well. Many health conditions are exacerbated and flat out caused by this type of science in our food. 🤷🏻‍♀️We find more and more everyday that the stuff we ate as kids didn’t leave our bodies. It got stored if our bodies didn’t know how to process it. The chemicals, the toxins, the wastes, our livers are over burdened by it. I have 4 different dietitians I see. Every one of them tells me different ‘facts’ and contradicts my bariatric surgeon. LOL So I spend time educating myself and now at the teaching hospital I go to, I educate the dietitians with the surgeons approval and permission. LOL More and more we are coming to know that for brain health some of those fats are necessary, as you’re aware, and that for body health and cell health fasting is looking to be the new magic treatment. I hope you are kind in understanding. Some people blast me for my use of sweeteners and low carb prepared wraps as well as protein bars and protein powders. LOL So it’s all in how you work it and how your body deals with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️Mine treats margarine like a poison and I would be sick for days.💁🏻‍♀️Others tolerate it just fine. My kids tolerate some sweeteners and not others. Whatever works. It’s not a one size fits all world.🙋🏻

@smp.... I really enjoy the intellectual repartee regarding hydrogenation, etc. And I do love hearing intelligent people like yourself provide education and reasoning. What I don’t have patience for are folks who just come on line to blast and insult other people, just not cool man. But sure I accept and appreciate your position on margarine, To each their own.
