Some can't handle the truth.

Hey Rick. I somewhat disagree w/this post. Yes, there are many times, I've personally eaten things or portions I shouldn't eat b/c I've given up or in. Not all women, some are driven by hormonal fluctuations. It's a real thing. I've had to sit, shut myself down completely to handle the waves. My entire body is covered in flash sweat. We women have to deal with pain & issues that would make grown men cry. The waves hit hard, it's not just food. It changes your body temperature. Basically, makes us crazy, crazier. Like a teenager's hormone. Food soothes the beast. At the end of the month, I'm searching for food I normally can control the cravings. In my circle. Some get snippy & cranky, b/c they deny the craving. I ask them to pls eat something. Even men go through hormonal changes. It's a lot more subtle. I'm looking at meds to deal with this cycle, b/c I'm tired of dealing with it. It exhausting. We can agree to disagree & call it a day.

Yeah, at the end of the day, week, month, it's your intake vs. expenditure that determines your results. Hormones can make your willpower wane, but it's still on you.

All I know Diablo, I am blaming it on the hormones, as I surly am not going to be responsible for putting the fork down!😆 In fact, bring on the spoon!🙃 Damn hormones!🤣

Well, at my age, the hormones have all died out, I'm blaming it on my lack of will-power and determination. And trying to do better.

I must admit that the first time I really struggled with my weight was during menopause combined with lockdown. However, I fought hard and re-adjusted lifestyle and overcame the whole thing. Still training and still at a healthy weight these days.
