If that was so, cottage cheese would be very very extremely expensive

That study was an extremely small study of 10 active women median age of 23, what happened in this study can't be applied across the population of women because women in their twenties who lead an active lifestyle does not apply to a forty-something woman who is mostly sedentary.

It's a stretch but in 2004 a study came out demonstrating the people on a restricted calorie diet who ate 3 portions of low-fat dairy products like cottage cheese improved their metabolism and lost more weight than those on a low dairy diet. Calcium is also a good sleep aid and sleep helps with metabolism. Calcium binds to fat in the intestine preventing it's absorption. After the study in 2004 many diets were created based on these findings often including a dairy snack at night. Prevention Magazine even put out the Ice Cream Diet. 1500 calories/day three portions of low fat dairy included an evening snack of Ice Milk.

Thanks for the info guys. I am on a good diet right now but i was curious because i read it somewhere. They have overnight fatburners these days aswell so you never know what works and what not;)

Yes you do know what works—- there is no MAGIC. WHEN YOU SEE THIS STUFF ON FB or in some women’s magazine, do some real homework and see what some of the reliable sources have to say. For those of you who may not be old enough to remember FenFen, it was a MAGIC pill for weight loss that ended up causing major heart problems and life-long pulmonary hypertension and heart failure.

Fat burners do not work

Ive been trying to loose the weight for so long now and the only thing that works for me is exercising and eating the right food and amount of them. I do use a proteinshake but besides that, no fatburners or pills. Anybody tried the belt with the electric shocks when they were younger? I did😂😂

Belt with electric shocks? Did it work? I might try that 🤔

Along with what Chris said, it should keep you filled up longer and delays stomach emptying so you're less likely to eat a bag a chips or something else before you sleep. It protects the breakdown of muscle by the slow releasing protein/amino acids.

https://mooscience.com/Casein.html#casein Interesting.. Click on the 2nd pubmed link at the bottom. Diets with 25% casein did raise energy expenditure etc..

It was called the abtronic i believe and it was always on those infomercials. They let you believe that it gave you a ripped stomache in like 2 weeks without food or exercise lol! It might work in combination with food and exercise but im not sure. It hurt too so im never trying that again 😂

LOLOLOL omg guys I do remember a lot of these things! When I was young (70's) my mothers' doctor actually prescribed her a "diet" pill that turned out to be speed...she said that she lost a lot of weight but that she also lost a lot friends...turned her into something of a jerk I guess...

I suspect that a late nite snack of cottage cheese would simply give you good-morning-gas.
