I began studying The Ketogenic Diet, the medical approach, after noticing how many healthcare professionals were implementing the diet in their practices. It is amazing what it can do medically for inflammation and neurology. New research on cancer is pretty exciting too. I was fortunate to have access to webinars given by Dominic D'agostino.

I was concussed mid November 2018 and could not remember how I ht my head. I began to have difficulty with proprioception and cognitive function. In a nut shell a mild case of temporary alzheimer's. I began The Ketogenic Diet as a healing therapy for my "brain strain". Within two weeks I noticed very positive results and have continued with the diet for now 9 weeks.

In addition I had an unusually stressful 18 months and I put on 30lbs so I am enjoying the weight loss. I feel more energetic and motivated. I believe I am healed but I am continuing with weight loss with plans to slowly transition to a modified Mediterranean Diet. After all I did not go through my cabinets throwing out my lentils, rice and faro when I started the diet. I refused even though Mark Sisson told me to basically close his book and return it to the library if I didn't.

Working on a survey for my thesis, any help would be really appreciated!
Great survey. I appreciate the summary. I have only been dieting since November so answering the questions according to my diet over the past 12 months incorporated both periods of my life. Eating an average of 2300 calories/day may explain why I was approaching 200+ lbs before beginning a diet!

I am currently following the ketogenic plan,is there a forum for that on here or a diet that exist u
I browsed the list of groups today. You can see them all if you are on the website vs. app. I saw quite a few Ketogenic diet groups. I follow the Ketogenic diet but I am not in any groups.
