Mixed Vegetables Pasta

Hearty pasta with onions, cabbage, mushrooms and bell peppers.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cook and drain the pasta.
  2. Chop all vegetables.
  3. Slowly heat the olive oil.
  4. Add vegetables and cook until soft.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. To serve, add vegetables on top of freshly cooked pasta...yummy!

IF.....AND ONLY IF YOU USE THE DREAMFILEDS PASTA. I GET IT AT FOOD LION, BUT CHECK WITH YOUR GROCER TO SEE IF THE WOULD STOCK IT. IT TASTS NO DIFFERENT THAN ORDINARY FULL CARB PASTA. :)

Thank you for this recipe, noswitchbacks. I prepared this as a side dish for my husband and as a dinner for myself. I will prepare this again, but since I am not a big fan of peppers, I will compensate with extra cabbage next time. Also, I will add diced tomatoes to add zest, antioxidants and moisture to this dish -- tasty.

Great recipe. I added fresh basil, chicken and garlic. It took little time to cook and was very filling.
