American Chop Suey with Tortellini

Tortellini pasta with ground beef, peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic and pasta sauce.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Brown up the ground beef.
  2. Add mushrooms, onion, peppers, garlic and spaghetti sauce.
  3. Cook until onions, peppers and mushrooms are tender.
  4. Cook tortellini until al dente.
  5. Add tortellini to sauce, sprinkle with romano cheese.

Reviews 
My husband loved it and thought it a "keeper"! Rather than the 4 cheese spaghetti sauce, I used Knorr Four Cheese sauce with 2 cups of low-fat milk. Also sprinkled in Italian Blend seasoning to taste. I did not sprinkle with romano cheese. Will make it again.
