big belly
Hello!
I'm not sure what the differnece between fibroids and ovarian cysts are per say but I have heard women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) tend to have bigger bellies due to maybe a hormone imbalance.
I do not have this problem myself, but I have heard a few stories from people on the net. I heard the best thing to do is just to lose weight to balance your hormones.
But because your a size 4, your actually way smaller than me, my best recommendation is to cut out simple carbs and stress. Eat more whole grains and whole wheat products, beans, fibrous things. And I heard stress can cause belly fat as well.
Maybe if you do all these things you'll notice a difference?
Good luck!

too much fiber?
Hello! I was wondering how your getting THAT MUCH fiber in your diet! Is it really all from fruits and veggies?
I've only been getting around 20g of fiber a day but I would really like it to be higher...my problem is I'm trying to keep my carbs kind of low and I'm carb cycling.
Since it looks like your getting a lot of fiber, I was wondering if you had any suggestions, like particurly high fiber foods. I will admit I tend to skimp on the veggies
And as for your question i would second Cthulhu's advice. I know when I used to eat a lot of carbs (I wasn't dieting) but they were all whole grains I got a lot of fiber but I wasn't eating a lot of veggies so it was all grain fiber and I was never bloated but very regular lol. I did hear that raw veggies will be harder to digest and their mineral salts can cause bloating or something...I think i read from the same source that fruits don't cause water retention like veggies. But I can't remember the source so don't hold me to it
But yeah, like any other diet, you will have to give your body time to adjust anyways!
Well good luck!

Hello
Hello everyone. I'm new here and thought I should introduce myself before I post anything else in the forum.
Well a lil about me...
I'm an 5'3" 18 year old girl and just started my firts semester of college! Woo!
Well I'm using this site because I really want to lose some weight so that I can feel more confident in myself. I weigh about 143 lbs currently and my goal is to get to 120 or at least in the 120s. I'm not so concerned about the number on the scale, its how I look that I'm going to be focusing on.
I'm not really overweight and people tell me I don't look like I'd weigh 143 but I think its because I tend to hold most of my fat in stubborn areas while other parts of me will look average/skinny.
My main priorities is to lose mostly fat all over but mostly in my thighs. I also want to tone up and build some muscle. I also would like to give my booty a lift
Well thats all I can think of to say! Good luck to everyone!
