Wow was I sore yesterday, I could hardly walk. But figured I needed to do it again today so I did. 30 minutes of working out and 5 mins of stretching my very stiff leg muscles which are cramping like crazy now.

So this morning I have decided that I must face the truth and be honest with myself. I need to lose weight because the less I weigh the less my joints are going to hurt. I want to be that firefighter I was before all my health issues with my kidneys failing and all the surgeries. Who knew that this experience was going to leave me feeling like I was 100 years old. But I am not, I am 43. So I realize in order to get what I want I will need to redo my body. In order to this I have to work out I have stretch my muscles and I have require more from me on a daily basis.
So today is the beginning of my month to month goal reaching program. Today I weight 143.8 On September 25th these are the simple goals I would like to reach:
1) limberness I have realized that I am so stiff and this is causing me a lot of muscle weakness and inability to be able to do some pretty simple things. I will continue to stretch the leg muscles and lower back muscles and in one month I will have improved the ability to put my head on the floor between my legs while they are spread in a V shape.
2) I will continue to find some way to work out every day. Not just 4 days but the goal is to do it atleast 5 days a week, so I will shoot for 7 days. I will continue to do a video work out on non dialysis days, and something with in my ability to complete on dialysis days. This can be swimming, weeding the jungle I have that was a garden, or going for a walk.
3) I do not plan on more than three goals a month, so with this I want to improve the day to day eating habits of not only me but Tom, so that I can by September 25th have my daily intake down comfortably to 1800 calories or less with a total fat intake of less than 30% so that I can see a weight loss of at least 5 pounds a month. This will help me reach my ultimate goal of being under 300 pounds for my level two burn the first weekend in November.
