Keep doing the math for protien needs. (SIMPLE).
If you want to know how much protein you need for your specific weight, just multiply your weight in pounds by .36, or your weight in kg by .8
For my current weight this would be (176 x .36 = 63.36 )grams of protien needed. Keep doing the math as you loose weight.

protien , fat , carbs ?
I think it's improtant to know just how much protien a woman in her 50's should have. So I googled it. "If you want to know how much protein you need for your specific weight, just multiply your weight in pounds by .36, or your weight in kg by .8"

Dieting with food allergies?
Hi
I'm allergic to soy nuts/beans also. A protien suppliment is hard to get and soy is everywhere. I found that weigh based protiens work for me. weigh comes from milk protiens. If your allergic to wheat that means your intollerant to gluetens and may have scyliac disease. There are support groups that will help. Recipe's are shared as well as other concirns. Look for one in your area. Your local hospital may know or google for one. Hope I've helped.

Make sure you eat enouph protien with your meal. Protien slows down the charbohydrate burn, allowing charbs to burn more steadily. I had the same problem. Notice 'had'. Carbohydrates feed the brain. Protien feeds the body. I needed a balance of both. Sounds like you do too. Give it a try and add some protien.
