I'm Stuart, just turned 40 from Glasgow in Scotland. Have put on weight gradually over the years(particularly since stopping smoking 5 years ago). Having now reached 252lbs must finally address the situation.
I love all types of food, good and bad, and have a weakness for snacking also during quiet times. My fondness for alcohol consumption is also a bit of a problem and is core to my ever increasing mass.
My work doesn't help due to regular business/social dinners and 'nights out' compounded by regular business trips overseas where wine and dining is the order of the day!!!
My plan is simple consume < 2000cals per week day, no alcohol midweek and cycle to work and back(4 miles each way). At weekends and when away on business I know I will struggle so have to enjoy my vices in moderation to not undo my good work!
Sounds easy doesn't it?
