performance: losing 3.5 lb a week
I am a 27 year old mother. I have two beautiful girls ages 3 and 8. I was a stay at home mom for 6 years and got used to having all day to fit everything in. Not that being a stay at home mom is easy by any stretch ,but my oldest was (and still is) so easy to raise. I had time to plan my meals and fit in a little tae bo at least 5 days a week and maintain a spotless house.
Now however I hit the floor running at 6 a.m. getting two kids ready and off to school, and by the time my wonderful husband and I have time to breath it is already 10 o'clock at night. When we finally do sit down we both feel as if nothing has been accomplished. We both do pretty decent with working out ,but sometimes I would rather NOT eat a meal or two a day just so I have a spare second to just sit.
Anyway, I am trying to be a healthier person all around and I hope that this year I will learn how exactly to do that... I want my kids to grow up educated about food so that they dont have to deal with all the health issue's adults face today. I guess for my family it has to start somewhere.... Might as well start with me.
