Today was just as wreckless. I won't even go into it. Going back to Phase 1 first thing tomorrow. Already squeezed all my lemons, got my cranwater ready and my lean meats preportioned. I'm ready to go and back on track. This past week was just a total mess. I'm afraid to even get on the scale on Tuesday, but I will.
Lisa, thanks for your great advice about getting my husband on the support wagon. What's really ironic about all of this is that he was the one that chose this diet. We were going to do it together and he caved in by 2:00PM on day 1. I refuse to quit. I started seeing results by the 6th day. I can't lose focus like this again.

Feeling much better today. However, I've been cheating like crazy. My husband bought me a bag of pringles select baked cinnamon sweet potato chips. They're supposed to be healthy. All I know is they're yummy and sweet and I have not had anything sweet in 2 weeks. Today is supposed to be day 14 of Phase 1 for me. But this flu just threw everything out of whack for me. I don't know whether to move on to Phase 2 tomorrow or just repeat Phase 1. I never went to my Dr.'s appt. yesterday. I rescheduled for Tuesday. The weather has been absolutely terrible and I hate to drive with the baby in the rain. So, I'll weigh myself then. Any thoughts on which Phase I should start tomorrow?

I've been battling the flu these past couple of days and sort of got off track. Yesterday, I pretty much fasted all day. I had no appetite and a terrible sore throat. I had a cup of chicken noodle soup and that was pretty much it. Today I still have a sore throat, but my body doesn't ache as much as it did yesterday. I was actually able to get out of bed today. I had my smoothie for breakfast. My husband bought me a tuna melt (shame on me). He felt I needed something solid. I guess it worked. I felt better after the tuna melt. But after that, it's been cranwater all day and two scrambled eggs for dinner. Tomorrow I have my follow up Dr.'s appt. hopefully he can prescibe something for my throat if it's still bothering me. I weigh myself again tomorrow hopefully the soup and the tuna melt didn't do too much damage.

Yesterday was day 8 and I cheated with a hot fudge sundae. Today, day 9 I fell into the temptation of a hazelnut coffee. Other than those two slip ups, I've been pretty much on track. Not to mention, my size 16 clothes are fitting loose, so that alone is motivation enough to stay on track. Let's see what my results are from the doctor. I have a follow up visit this Friday. Hopefully, all is well health wise. After all, I do feel fine.

Day 7. Today I've successfully completed my first week of phase 1. I honestly thought this was going to be tough. But, on the contrary I couldn't be happier. I'm not hungry and best of all I'm already seeing results. This is definitely a step in the right direction. I'm extremely pleased.
