I am a full time working wife and mother of 2... I have a 7 year old first grade boy and a 3 1/2 year old girl. (who is going on 16).... I have been with my hubby for 13 years, married to him for 10 of it. During this time I have bounced all over the scales, from as low as 150 to as high as 238 (while pregnant).....
In 2008 I hit my all time non pregnant high of 200lbs and realized I needed to make a change. Not only for me, but for my husband and kids. In March of 08 I decided to start weight watchers. I successfully lost and maintained a loss of 35 lbs until March 09. However, in March of 09 I decided to take the next step of getting healthy, and that was to quit smoking. That was great for me, but I put back on almost 20 lbs, even though after smoking I started working out even more.....
in December of 09 I decided I needed to start WW again, but this time I only was able to loose 7 lbs. Not very good..... So now I am going to try to follow weight watchers using the My Fat Secret site. Since I can still see WW points, I hope it will help.
In addition to loosing weight, in September of 09 I competed in my first Triathlon... It was only a sprint triathlon, which is 500 meter swim, 10 mile bike and a 2.6 mile run, but it was still a triathlon... It was the greatest experience of my life....
I have continued my training all winter long and plan to compete in a duathlon in May and then 2 tri's later this summer. I am not a thin person, but I am still very active.
I hope to loose more weight and get down to my goal of 160 by July. That is only about 16 lbs. I have my 20 year reunion that month...
In addition to continuing to run and swim, I have started to do the p90 workout and hope to see more physical changes with that.
