Okay-my first challenge has started and even though 6km might not be much of a challenge for me it keeps me focused and motivated. I am bummed I am back to 240 but not surprised. The sweet voices of all those cookies I made has been getting to me in the evening-my bad time. yesterday I did both the bike and the Wii Fit. Today I am going to tstart an EA sports 30 day program and see how I do. I am feeling better and I must not be journaling my food correctly if the weight isn't coming off. So now I need to focus on fewer calories.

Golds Gym Stationary Bike-30 minutes 6.7 miles 158 calories burned according to the bike.

Pedometer says 7777 steps, 2658 as aerobic, walked 2.56 miles. My bike says I biked 6 miles. Did poorly last night with lots of snacks but kept the count down. I am much better on snacking. Used to do it all day now night time is my downfall. If I keep myself busy with a game or a craft I do much better. Wasn't feeling good yesterday after our adventure Christnas Day and we have an emergency services radio we must have on at all times since my husband is the local Fire Chief of a volunter fire department. Our neighbor department was called out at 2am in zero degree weather for a chimney fire and we can hear the call so it wooke us up. They were called out again at 5am. Not a very restful night and when I get tired-I snack. At least I know some of the triggers. Anyway-my new challenge starts today 3.73 miles for 5 days. I am going to try and achieve that in addition to my biking.

Oh the holidays-Mad at husband last night because he spent 2 hours on the phone with son doing computer stuff so I ended up snacking. Shouldn't have been mad but felt lonely on Xmas eve. Today I will have to try harder as I won't be on the bike. 1.2 degrees outside, 3 inches of new snow and it is still snowing. Off to Billings in this weather to see me grandkids open presents. Merry Christmas all. At least we have a white Christmas.

4.4 degrees F this morning and we are expecting snow. I slid of my oath last night snacking on cookies. Although it took me over my 1800, I didn't gain any weight. Went searching the web for other calorie counting sites and found many. They all recommend different amounts but 1800 looks like a good number to loose one pound per week. Did my 30 minutes on the bike yesterday. Getting ready to cook the ham for tomorrow and the roast beef for tonight. At my age losing weight is a slow process which I don't like but I am feeling good about what I have done since December 1.
