Soooo...
I've been absent from fatsecret for a long time. I went through some emotional, personal stuff, and wound up gaining back 15 lbs. Finally, I feel good again, and I've lost 22 lbs again through weight watchers.
I've never been this close to getting down to my goal of 155. For the first time, it really feels attainable.
I'm taking my time, though, and not obsessing about it.
But I'm so proud of myself!

I can't believe I haven't gained any weight over the holidays! I haven't actively been trying to lose weight since the last time I weighed in here (40 days ago. Ick). Obviously, I haven't lost, but I'm quite happy I didn't gain, either.
I found out I'm going to be going on a trip to Florida with my family in March, so there's another great reason to hit the gym; shorts and bathing suits. It would be great if there was at least one trip where the pictures of me in shorts, tank tops and bathing suits don't make me cringe...

Today I fit into my old skinny jeans without a muffin top! Pretty exciting, since I thought it would take another 5 lbs or so. I was 5 lbs lighter last time I wore them.
But I guess working out -which I didn't do last time I lost weight - is the key for me. I'm stronger than I've ever been, and that's the most exciting part. I started with 3 lb weights, to 5lbs, 8 lbs, and now 10lbs! I can also stretch more than I've ever been able to. I'm naturally not very flexible, so I'm noticing the added flexibility! It's great!!

YAY!
I tried on a dress that hasn`t been able to go over my hips in many months - since probably February. It actually went over them, and ISN`T skin-tight around my hips and lower belly!!
Apparently my weight is staying the same, but I'm losing inches. I go to the gym almost every day for about 30 min, so I guess I'm seeing the results from that. Clothes that fit me years ago are fitting again!
To celebrate, I went to a frozen yogurt place near my house. I didn't know it existed until today - it's SELF-SERVE; I am insanely excited. I got to have 5oz of dairy-free strawberry frozen yogurt with Strawberries on top! How great is that??
