Patience is a virtue
Salty foods make you hold more water weight, whereas drinking a ton of water helps you keep it off. If you weight yourself once each morning, nude, after using the bathroom you can get a more accurate reading. If you weigh yourself randomly each day, you have to factor in food in your tummy and what you're wearing and things like that.. Weight goes up/down about 1-2 lbs daily for me. You need to factor in things like your time of the month and if you've eaten salty things and so on.
I like doing daily weigh-ins to keep an accurate watch on my progress. It helps to always weigh yourself at the same time each day.

Advice on my fat loss journey.
Have you tried Interval Training? My boyfriend used to be like 220 or so and dropped down to about 160 by doing Interval Training three times a week and eating mostly mesquite chicken.

Interval Training:
Sprint 20 seconds
Walk 30 seconds
Do this 6 times. It's easier on a treadmill.

Do that Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after you work out, it helps a lot.
