Finally I was able to get my are off the couch and go for a walk and boy it felt good! I did 1.11 miles half of that was up hill!
Today the hubby is flying home from Paris and he is wanting to join me on the Dash diet! His aunt, who has so many health problems, asked me about the Dash diet and is buying the book!
I'm not trying to convince others to do the diet but I know the results I've seen on the scale, with my heart rate and blood pressure! It's working for me!

I expected to put on some weight after this last weekend. Been super stressful time for me...hubby in Paris for business for the 1st time, my little brothers dad had open heart surgery on Monday and still is not doing good. Cruddy eating while we were at the VA hospital and once home.
On the 23rd my dad is having colon surgery at the same VA hospital and this time I'm taking my foods to stay on track!
Back on track today, eating right and drinking my water!

Still doing great on day 4!
Grocery shopping yesterday was a challenge, every thing looked so good but I pushed through!
Going to try a walk today, exercise isn't discouraged but they don't want you to over do it.

Almost day 2 completed on the Dash! Feeling good but a little tired as it says would it would happen in the book.
