Weight History

Start Weight
127.0 lb
Lost so far: 3.6 lb

Current Weight
130.6 lb
Performance: losing 1.4 lb a week

Goal Weight
120.0 lb
Still to go: 10.6 lb
I began my Weight Watcher's journey at 169lbs and currently weigh 135lbs. Although I have made "lifetime", I would like to get down to the lower 120's in order to have a bit more of a "safety net". I am sure that the last 10lbs are going to be the most challenging considering "maintenance" had been quite difficult as well. Wish me luck!!! I am looking forward to using FatSecret for my journey.....

New WW Propoints Plan
Thanks 12Sydney, great job to you too!!! I am hoping that the computer guru who figured a way to put pts on this site is working on a way to convert them to PointsPlus........ =)

I was introduced to the program last night + I am VERY excited about it. I have been struggling to lose the last 10lbs and I hope that this is the kick start that my body needs. Of course I know there is a learning curve and that many posts (PointsPlus reviews) that I have read indicate that I can expect a weight gain the first week, but I have been doing WW for so long that I am okay with this as long as it comes back off =)

For anyone else who is using the new program, I would love some tips + I am happy to share mine as well!

Anyone looking to maintain or have just a little to lose?
I have been a Life Time member for just about a year, but would like to lose just a few more lbs so I don't have to panic at my monthly weigh in (stripping down to almost nothing sometimes, haha). I would be more than open to any suggestions on how to get these darn last 5ish lbs off!!!! I work out 6 days a week (3 days weight training, 2 days walking, 1 day power yoga) and only each 19 pts (I tried eating only 18pts for a couple of weeks & gained each week, so I obviously was not eating enough). Sometimes I feel like it is easier to lose the initial weight then maintenance is......

Any Vegans or Vegetarians out there
I am a pesco-vegetarian (vegetarian who eats fish, but no other meat) My best explanation that I give to people is that I just can't eat anything on land. I did it for similar reasons, my stomach just gave up on meat! 15 years later, I still am happy about my choice and applaud you for listening to your body's cues.

Adding foods to my food journal
I put all my recipes into:

http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp

I find it VERY helpful with the nutritional break down of my recipes & then I just input the info as a "new food" then past the recipe in the comments box.

Hope this helps!
