helllllloooooo
(a la seinfeld style....)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I will not be stepping on that scale for a few days lol - I didn't do awful, I just ate off plan. I wasn't (as my good buddy glen says) sitting on the couch in curlers watching tv downing pints of ben and jerry's...but I did not worry at all about anything saturday or sunday. Funny enough most of the food saturday night was diet friendly - steak, some green beans..of course a few other things that were completely obscene (BREAD OMG) cannot believe I ate a piece but it was all like GRILLED or something...also ate french onion soup no idea how that pans out and dessert of course and drinks...the GOOD news is that BF doesn't mind when I spend two weeks drawing/painting/creating a hand made card for him - he doesn't look at me like I am a five year old (I am actually) but rather finds it charming. and he liked his gift and i LOVED mine and it was a fun night out - again so few of those for mom... :)

Sunday ... we were hungry and hung over and I said "hey let's check out that great mexican place that my friend recommended" NOTE TO SELF MEXICAN FOOD IS A BAD CHOICE AFTER A HANGOVER....ugh...but again - a VAT of guac, which is OK - not too many chips and then enchilada's but sort of opened them up and ate the insides...so again - not *great* but not totally obscene -

Still not getting on that scale!

Spent the day cooking and getting ready for the week - it's so much easier when you plan ahead - and he is SBD and I am atkins style so it is a bit challenging but actually I feel pretty (don't laugh!) proud to be able to equip him with food for the week to take home and for work and such and also my stuff ready too.

It's like I know I can do it - I just have to minimize the cheating...which I am pretty sure I am doing ok I don't crave sweet as much at all anymore - in fact the desserts we both sort of picked at ...

Anyway there's my valentines weekend re-cap lol - I wish everyone a great recovery week as I am reading many of us did the same thing :)

Hello to all :)

Up a pound after switching to the digital scale but that is ok it's like a re-set start from scratch. At least it wasn't ten pounds more than the other one!!

Did pretty darn good today, I think - 1492 calories/84 fat/141 protein/and carbs were 34.33 but less my Dietary Fiber, right? that was 17.9...so that is 16.43 net carbs?? I cannot be doing that properly - anyway after breakfast I was not even hungry for lunch. I decided I should eat something around 230 so that I was not ravenous at dinner and over do it - so I had my avocado. I ate a lot for dinner it felt like but I guess it did not add up to all that much.

Again resisted the LEMON (oh god it's LEMON people!!!) pound cake at work, although not so hard since it's a day older lol. And I don't really feel like I want sugar. I do feel tired today which is weird because I got good sleep. And I feel sort of icky all over. Not like a cold but like ... well, bloated maybe? I am drinking plenty of water. My acupuncturist said the extra sodium was good - something about balancing out electrolytes since removing all the foods that I removed...

Dinner out Saturday night - this week has SUCKED at work so far and I always look forward to the weekends but yay V-day and same place as a couple weekends ago so I know the food is diet friendly...the desserts and drinks however...lol
