I'm Amy, a 20 year old Aussie who loves to be active, but I'm probably not as active as I once was. I'm an Irish dancer, which is strenuous work, but I have a few goals for dancing that I'd like to reach this year.
I'm also starting my last year of uni, in a really busy course.
I gained 10 kilos over the past 2 years, and although I'm within the generalised normal range, I could do with losing a bit of weight, as the levels of fitness and heart rate required for my dancing would benefit.
The weight gain probably escalated during uni, as I began to have longer hours sitting in lecture theatres or in front of a computer, and irregular mealtimes. Plus, irregular mealtimes also meant that I'd be eating junkfood to stave off hunger. Bad habits!
I'm doing my best to break all my bad habits. I love all things exercise-related, but my biggest issue is food - it tastes so good! I have a massive appetite for my small frame, so any encouragement would be awesome!
