Happy to find out that the hotdog I had at the MLB game last night in Toronto wasn't as bad as I expected. Who can go to a major league sports event and not cheat a little? We brought our own tuna sandwiches, veggies and bought water, so the hotdog was just a nice treat. It was hard seeing all that awesome (junky) food everyone was eating, but once we left I felt good about myself for not splurging and just satisfying my craving a wee bit rather than going all out on popcorn, coke and pizza too.
The game even tested my willpower more than I thought because the game went to 13 innings... that's what we call baseball karma.

Holy shmokes! I love this new lifestyle. Losing weight makes me feel so much better than I thought it would.

Looking for recommended intakes for the obvious nutritional values I found the following:
Protein should be 0.4xweight in lbs = 127.2g/day
Carbohydrates = no more than 60% of daily energy = ?
Fat = no more than 70g/day
Gonna keep looking for more information when I'm less tired and I have less laundry to do. :)

I am SO not used to exercise. Is it supposed to burn like that? :) I'm just doing wee little exercises with 60 second intervals (using the 8 minutes in the morning plan as guidance) and it hurts like a b%*ch. LOL But I feel good. What I've discovered is that there are no exercise plans for really big girls like me. 5 years at 300+lbs with no exercise makes for an uncomfortable workout. But I'm gonna do it. Anyone have any suggestions for things I can do at home while I get some muscle mass back?
I'd love to hear any ideas for back exercises too. I deal with pretty nasty back pain, especially in the morning. Would love to strengthen those muscles first. I'm working on my abs (or lack there of) now.

Picked up some exercise stuff today to help me 'get moving'. I got a pack of 6 dumbells (2lb, 3lb and 5lbs, 2 of each). I also got a tension cable with rowing bits on each end. I think this exercise will help me with my flexibility and my back problems. Melyss picked up some ball hockey balls so we can go play in the school lot with our sticks. I want to play next year. Anything to get moving.
