I
love
the after workout glow. Feels better than any high I got drinking coke or eating brownies.

That's the last time I go out for lunch and then to the movies the night before ww weigh in... small popcorn is better than an xl one though right? ;)
I don't even want to think about how many calories a movie night would have been before:
1 large box choc covered raisins
1 large popcorn w extra butter
1 large regular coke
Followed by dinner at Jack astors - 4 cokes, bruschetta w feta, penne with side of cheese bread.
*cough*
Ya, I'm doing ok.

Tricky day today. Started off with blood work after a 14 hour fast (doctors orders) and then no exercise. Never before have I had a problem with either. Before I started this program I would have skipped breakfast more than I ate it - if I was lucky (or my wonderful friends forced me kicking and screaming to eat something) I would have had breakfast (maybe) twice a week. Now I don't know what I did without it. I had ZERO energy all day today.
It felt like the old me: Nap every day when I got home, nap on weekends, nap during my naps. Anyway, that, combined with an insanely hectic day and no time for lunch, followed by zero activity, I realize how little I did before.
I also realize why I was so addicted to caffeine. No more.
Looking forward to a day fueled by good nutritious food, hydration, and activity.
Oh hey! And this week is 5 months clean - no coca-cola has entered this body. Not bad for cold turkey after a 3L/day habit. Now I'm 3L/day of clean, glorious h2o :)

Off to my doctors office this morning to push to get blood tests done. I want to get a baseline of all my health issues/levels: thyroid, iron, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Once I know where I am and what I'm still missing or overdoing it on, I'll be able to adjust my diet accordingly.
I really hope my thyroid levels come back normal. Last time they were WAY off. Hypothyroidism sucks. Wish me luck!
