I hurt my shoulder a couple of weeks ago, which has slowed me down somewhat. I am not doing any upper body workouts at the moment, and no major moves at pole class (nothing that uses upper body strength, which is what I enjoy doing the most). Elliptical (no arms) instead of swimming, too. But, still being active, so fine weight-wise. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal in the next week or so (more of an ache now, plus my right shoulder is complaining due to overcompensating for the left one). In the meantime, doing what I can.

Due to crazy work schedule, opera festival, and moving, I have not been to the gym in the last couple of weeks. Finally went! Weight remained unchanged. I have been continuing to eat healthy (except for one dinner over the weekend), and have made sure to decrease the amount eating to make up for decreased activity. Hoping things will go back to normal in the next week or two.

Getting back into my usual routine, as well as including extra exercise for the last week, has gotten me back into my maintenance range. I plan on keeping up the extra exercise for the next week, at least. Opera opening night is on the 15th, and the following 4 weekends, I'll be busy with opera things (enjoying the operas, not actually int hem), along with the pre-opera dinners, after parties (and all the wine that goes with that). Plus, moving on the 14th, so that'll be ... fun.

Okay, I am now above my maintenance range (113-117). I know what it's due to - my husband and I were in California for St. Paddy's Day, then vacation, then a friend's wedding. We did a lot of walking, but no gym. And ate what we wanted. This is why I have a maintenance range, though. I'll add in extra cardio workouts (while resuming my usual workout routine and eating), until I get back closer to 115. Then, I'll just continue with my usual routine.
