I am a single mom of a 6-year old little girl. Prior to my pregnancy I had lost 35lbs on weight wathcers with a girlfriend of mine. Then I gained an enormous amount of weight with my daughter. I lost quite a bit right after having her, but these last 20 or so pounds have just been hanging on for dear life. I tried to do weight watchers again, but just couldn't stay focused. Then one day I heard Dr. Ian on the radio talking about his diet and I decided to grab a buddy and start the plan. So here I am working to lose these last 20lbs. Wish me luck on my journey!

Baked Gordon's Fish Sticks
I am not real big on cooking or eating fish. But I found some baked fish sticks by Gordon's that are low in calories and fat. Does anyone know if these could work for having 4oz of meat?

Bad back
I am recovering from a torn achilles tendon and the perfect thing I've found for getting my exercise in is doing 30 to 45 min on an eliptical machine at my associations clubhouse. You can change the resistance to almost none and it there's hardly any strain on any part of your body. If you guys belong to a gym or have a local community rec center he should try one out.

Is it ok..?
Yes you can drink V-8, but I think teh book says you may want to water it down just a tad. I'm not real sure about the splenda, but I put some in my coffee in the morning. Plus, most diet sodas and made with it these days so if you drink diet pop, you're getting it anyway.

What is EFS?
The EFS is a more strict and regimented version of FS. This diet has 3 week cycles/phases. Which means instead of a 90-day program, you're on a 3 week program. You have to do more exercise for 6 days a week and the meal plans are more strict. You aren't allowed to eat all the fruits and veggies all day, there are 4 meals with 2 snacks a day. It's for people who are interested in losing weight quicker than the 90 days for FS. I am doing it and I like it alot.

Bloated on Fat Smash
I think the bloated feeling is from all the fiber of everything we're eating. You need to give your body time to get it out of your system and start burning it off. I had weighed myself after the 3rd day and actually had gained 2lbs, but I'm sure it was because of all the brown rice and beans from the night before. But today, the 5th day, I'm down 4lbs from the original weigh-in. Make sure you're doing your exercise and drinking lots of water to flush your system.
