At the time of writing this, I'm a 57 year old male musician (guitarist/singer/songwriter/t... who knows he must change his eating ways. If for no other reason than feeling better about myself, and just plain feeling better. I need to be more active. My normal work out is a nordic track for 1/2 an hour which would be great if I could get on the damn thing everyday,(btw why doesn't 'fatsecret' have that as an option in the exercise dept.?), I have no desire to be super cut or fantasize about recapturing my youthful figure, just wanna get my wind back and be able to tie my dang shoes without grunting and groaning . I've done HCG and modified Hcg diets before .They all seem to work, if I can muster the mental fortitude and stick with it-ness. But the weight always eventually comes back. My big problem is my love for carby-sugary type foods, . .sigh, . . I like to bake cake,cookies,pies, bread (and eat what I bake . .hrump! . .another sigh . .), but I guess I need to change the things I bake. I wrestle with my cholesterol lvl which I'm sure would come down if I ate healthier and could maintain a constant weight. I find counting calories works well for me, logging in everything I eat and not going above 1700 calories in a day, (what a huge pain in the ass!! but it does work . .). Anyhoo now you know what I know, onward and 'downward' . . .
