Survived the busy weekend. Up .2 from Friday but it's also my bloat week for TOM, so next Monday will be the weight I am curious about most. My side of the family's Christmas is this weekend, so have to stay on track this week so can enjoy a few endulgances. Then it's just a 4 day work week and I am off til next year :) My in-laws will be coming to our house Christmas Eve. Kids are excited because they get to spread out Christmas gifts. Then my oldest son has a birthday on the 29th, so he will be "gifted" out by then!

Nathan had a great time this weekend at the show with his heifer "MiMi"

He place 2nd in his class of British heifers. This was his first show with this calf. She wanted to act up a bit, but he held on.

In January the busy Texas Stockshow season will begin. Nathan has 2 steers and this heifer on feed. We will be hitting Ft Worth, San Antonio and the Houston shows.

Hence why I am wanting to get as much weight off now and be on track so when the "eating out, late nights" begin I can maintain a positive momentum and not put back on everything I have lost to-date.

I really hate bloat week. Why did I torture myself this morning by stepping on the scale. Luckily only up.2 from Monday, but any upward movement is not what I wanted to see :) But I am not letting it get me down. No bootcamp on Friday mornings, so tonight will do my own workout routine. I should have gotten up early this morning and worked out, but I decided to let myself sleep an extra hour instead. The 4:30 morning were wearing on me this week, especially with the late evening activities.

Next week is shaping up to be super crazy as well. Monday nothing, but Tuesday evening archery practice for my son, then AWANAs Wednesday, Thursday is the boys school Christmas musical, and Friday heading to the Dallas area for Christmas with my side of the family. Then it's back home Sunday for 4 days of work. So ready for the holiday break (Dec 23 - Jan 1). The boys last day at school is next Friday and they don't return until Jan 4.

Once January hits, its GO, GO, GO for our family til mid-April. This is the time of the year I will have to watch the most. Texas stockshow season starts, so lots of eating out, early mornings and late nights, little time to squeeze in a workout. My son will show heifers at Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston Stock Show and has a steer for San Antonio, Houston and our local county show. It's fun times!

Have a great weekend everyone. I can see the light of the 170s and I hope to get back there very, very soon!
