Things have ben going very well. I've been sticking to my calorie limit and walking 2 miles a day, in addition to the walking I have to do on campus. My weight loss has been steady, I'm hoping it will start to slow to at least 1 pound per week. The 2 pounds I've been losing per week so far is too much too fast. I still have 12 pounds to go. Reaching my goal in 3 months would be awesome.

Since I changed my diet, My weight was actually started over, so to date I have actually lost 1.5 pounds which I am very proud of. The main thing I need to work on now is no eating after 8 pm and increasing my water intake. I did my walking 5 out of 7 days, so that goal was reached. I feel better and have more energy. So all the way around this week was a great success!

After much thought I decided to go ahead and change my diet. Not that I have been following Atkins this last week anyway, I just couldn't decide whether I wanted to still do Atkins this time. I've decided not to, it's the only way I can possibly be successful this time.
So this go round I'm doing calorie restriction, try to stick with only good fats as much as possible, very little or no sweets at all, and increased exercise. I'm setting my goal for daily caloric intake at 1400. My intention is to do at least one hour of exercise at least five days a week.
School starts back on Monday and I just hope that with less dietary restriction I can succeed better and reach my ultimate goal this time. I know the stress is only going to get worse, especially after I start the nursing program, but I'm determined to not let my health suffer.
