Confession Time...what's your secret?!?!?!?
You know, I do have a secret. I've always struggled with it but I never share it. It is THE biggest reason I almost hit 400lbs and why am now still well over 300lbs despite my families best efforts. Lately it has been driving me nuts and then I see this thread. So here goes... My secret? "I hate myself more than anyone else ever possibly could." You think you could hate me more? NO. Have you ever considered that you can't end your own life because you are to afraid, to weak, people get in your way trying to "help", or you don't want to hurt your loved ones there has to be a way? I found it when I was just starting in college. I couldn't physically hurt myself. What I found though is slow and painful but it works without anyone who matters complaining. Just do nothing but work and eat; it's working well.

Alkaline Water
Just my two cents, there is currently no evidence that I could find that says it hurts to drink alkaline water, but there also isn't any indication that it actually helps. Simple high school biology here: Your stomach acid will neutralize the pH of the water so it really doesn’t do anything once it hits your stomach. The nutrition conscious side of me here: If you were able to change your blood pH this way you would rapidly develop metabolic alkalosis; not a fun trip.
