18-years-old and battling obesity.
Well, my doctor told me that since they were benign that they'd probably "just disappear" and that he didn't want to remove them, because they were so big and the gland is so small. If he had removed them he would have had to remove my whole pituitary gland and he just didn't want to do that. My thyroid was completely inactive for a long while and that's what got us into doing the MRI and finding out that I had the tumors. I do know that I probably can't lose the weight until my medical problems are completely fixed, but my mother just doesn't feel like going through the doctor stuff again, and I can't even find a job!

18-years-old and battling obesity.
I'm Abbi and I'm from Louisiana. Growing up, I was always extremely skinny. My mother thought there was something wrong with me. Then about four years ago I randomly gained sixty pounds! It happened in less than a year. That's when we found out that I had two tumors on my pituitary gland. That put together all of the pieces! That's why I was so skinny as a child and that's why I gained so much weight. I'm not sure if I still have the tumors or not, but I want to get this dang weight off. I'm trying and I hope it pays off. I want to be skinnier than I was in high school.

how can I become more motivated?
I'm eighteen. I'm currently not in school and I can't find a job! I usually just sit at home and it's become really depressing. I need to lose 60 lbs. I have only lost five and I just can't keep myself motivated. I eat whenever my family or friends eat and there's no way I can make them eat healthier too. I just feel like I'm alone in this and I don't know how to be okay with going at it alone.

Android app no longer available?
I still have mine! and whenever I searched Calorie Counter in the market it was still the first one. I don't know if they just made it unavailable to the Droid X.
