Ran a half marathon yesterday. Feeling pretty tired, sore and weak today.

I am trying again today. I have eaten a ketosis breakfast except for eating 2 inches of a banana and 1 chocolate chip granola bar. I am taking 1 Tbsp. of coconut oil to get more fats each morning, but feel like I need to eat something to chase the fat out of my mouth after I take it. This is probably cheating, but I will see if I can cheat a smidge and still lose weight.

I fell off the ketosis wagon on Wednesday. I had to go to workshops for my job on Wed. and Thurs. and they fed us lunch. It did not follow the diet and I felt uncomfortable taking my own food. I also got a very bad craving for some chocolate chip cookies. I gave in and made a batch. So now I am trying to get back on the wagon and eat better again. I have shared this diet with my sister and I am excited that she is going to try it.

My friend Jeff Skinner told me about this ketosis diet so I am trying it. I am also trying to get in shape to run a half marathon on Aug. 27. I am running/walking using the Hal Higdon training schedule for half marathon. Today I ran 5 miles. I really run as long as I can and then I walk to catch my breath until I feel I can run some more. I think I am running about half and walking half of the distance right now. I hope to get to where I can run for a mile without stopping and work up from there. I am also hoping to lose 30 pounds this year.
