Protein options for Vegetarians
You're welcome. Smile

For a snack, I enjoy about 1/2-2 cup of 2% greek yogurt with about the same amount of some frozen wild blueberries and a teaspoon of blueberry preserves (all from trader joes). The preserves add some sweetness with minimal calories. It's very satisfying, kind of like ice cream but good for you. Smile

Protein options for Vegetarians
Actually, one of the absolute BEST sources of protein for vegetarians is QUINOA. It's very easy to cook, but it is the ONLY grain that has full chains of amino acids. Normally, those complex amino chains are only found in meats, so it's very unique.

There are various kinds, it cooks up like rice or couscous, but it PACKED with much more nutrition. We usually make the red or white quinoa with dinner with broth instead of water, our kids love it, it's easy to flavor and just a great food.

We get ours at Trader Joe's, definitely worth a try!

I also have recipes for a vegetarian chocolate cake and vegetarian pumpkin muffins that are both WONDERFUL, if you're interested.

I need help!!!!!
Great advice all, and also give yourself the grace to have a treat! If you like cookies, have 2. If like ice cream, get the single serving kind. Just don't eat the whole box! Smile
