Viscious Cycle
Exercise is a good way to conquer depression. It boosts metabolism, burns fat, generally makes you a happier, healthier human. Maybe you don't need to lose weight, but, just get fit. Start walking or jogging and add a few weights. 3 to 4 times a week should be a great start. I wish you success and happiness.

i have to do all my working out at home, husband does not approve of gym
The best home workout system is the P90X system. I know a coupla people who swear by it and have gotten results. Just type "P90X" in your search bar and it'll take ya where you want to be.

Craving sweet foods
I heard if you put a drop of tabasco or hot sauce on your tongue....that'll curb your craving for sweet snacks. Good luck.
