Food was always by best friend. It was with me when I was sad, happy, stressed, etc. When my father, who has always been heavy, had his first stroke in 2001; I really started thinking about my health. Of course it took a few years for me to start making life changes and veiwing food differently.

I have lost a lot of weight (170), I still want to lose 20 more pounds. As I was loosing the weight, I would stop dieting just to see if I could maintain the new weight. I have been able to maintain the weight loss for three years!

I have the energy now to keep up with my children and 8 grandchildren. I feel better than I have in my life and have a great support system and friends!

The picture on my Bio is the heavest I could find before I started, the challenge photo was taken February 20, 2010 at my sons wedding.

Last pounds, any suggestions?
I've been back an forth on this site, but have actually been dieting. I'm down to 16 pounds to lose. Does anyone have any suggestions to get these last pounds off?? Thanks

Help
I'm still trying to figure out this sight, sorry. I think I have the excerise portion figured out but not the food. I use sugar subsuite in my coffe in the morning. After my workouts I eat 1/4 cup of raisons (low iron) recommended by the doctor. Tonight I had broiled salmon with brown rice and red beets. I measure everything after it is cooked which maybe part od my problem??

Help
I need some help! I weighed over 320 lbs, lost 170 lbs and have kept it off for over 3 years! I am very proud of that. Now for the help, my goal is to lose the additional 22 pounds I've carreid around for years. At this point NOTHING is working! I drink over 100 ounces of water (ice cold), consumer NO suger, or bread or eggs. I workout at least 2 hours a day, just not dropping the weight! HELP please
