After my workout with my trainer yesterday I was sure my arms would be dead to me today. Pleasantly surprised! Glutes are sore but not in a "it hurts to sit on a toilet" kinda way. Logging my food has always been what I hate the most but I gotta say I have have not minded it as much...at least for the first week. Chicken burrito bowls may just be my favorite food. High in protein, low in carbs...I could eat them every day. I made them in the crock pot so the mess was contained and I didn't have to slave in the kitchen. I call that a win/win.

Day 4 of the challenge was proving to be quite challenging! I started getting munchies....bad. It was a low carb day to begin with but also Day 4 of clean eating so I know I was detoxing from some sugar as well. My go to food are grapes, berries, bananas...any fruit really. Not on low carb days though. I drank 2 bottles of water to try and curb it but that didn't help. 1oz of beef jerky is a life saver. I also found that Almond Milk and Walden Farms chocolate syrup make a great, satisfying sweet snack (IE. hot chocolate) that is low in carbs and good for you! Walden Farms makes a great caramel syrup too that I may get to put with coffee and almond milk in a blender for caramel frappicinios. The weekend will be my next biggest challenge but using Keto and carb cycling is really helping me not feel hungry.

Day 3 has ended well. I was supposed to work out with my trainer this morning but was feeling really under the weather so I pushed it back to Friday morning. I now feel as though I have a cold coming on. I had planned on today being a high carb day since I was supposed to work out so I had more calories then normal but ended up keeping under 1800 and kept my macros in check so it ended up being a low carb day. Eating this way I am finding that I am not really hungry. Tomorrow will be a light cardio day and then Friday will be a normal trainer workout.

Day 1 of the 8 week transformation challenge went great. Except the part where I almost puked during my workout. Not sure what exactly happened but at least I got some exercise in. Something is better than nothing. Day 1 of my carb cycle went great as well. Today is going to be a cardio day and low carb day. My hardest part is figuring out what to make for dinner. And the part I hate the most is logging in everything I eat. I made the 8 week commitment though so I am in until Dec 19....at which point I extend it 4 more weeks for the challenge I joined on this site.
