Have done this before so I know I can do it again. No secret, other than tracking all calories, activities and COMMITMENT!

Lost 55 lbs years ago following my wife's Weight Watchers Program. Bottom line, it's Calories in LESS Calories out, EVERY DAY.

Let myself go the last 10 years, and recently had an injury to my foot that caused me to be more or less off my feet for 3 months. Gained an additional 27 lbs during that time. No activity combined with depression and constant eating. But, the nice thing about life, is you can get a fresh start any day you choose!

Can't do fad diets because I hate the restrictions. If I want to eat more on a certain day, then I need to make up for it by being more active and EARNING some activity points / calories.

Down 5.8 lbs in 5 days. Easy to lose that much when you are as overweight as I am right now. But, still pretty easy to lose 2 lbs a week when you get closer to your goal weight.

Track every calorie in and every calorie out with the FAT SECRET APP on my phone and I pad. Goal every day is a minimum of 1,000 calories more OUT THAN IN. Most days, come close to 1,500. Make good choices as to what you choose to eat. Save some calories if you know you are going to be eating more than usual later in the day because of a special event or whatever.

Finally, don't cheat on the app. You will only be cheating yourself. It's okay to have a bad day now and then. If you still reach your goal for the week, or month, things will be fine. I've done this before and I WILL DO IT AGAIN!
