I'm a 36 year old software engineer who works at home. I've found that easy access to food is a means to avoid tough/boring tasks and I feel that I'm on the verge of growing "dad" belly. One that my son can poke and jump on! My six-pack abs are still visible and my wife doesn't think I'm fat, but I want to lose 10 pounds, lower my body fat percentage, and make sure my abs don't disappear forever. Other than the belly, I feel that I'm in great shape. I've worked out all my life and am fairly active.
My main goal for 2011 will be to change my eating habits. I eat too many snack foods and not enough natural foods. I'm hoping the new year will motivate me to change the way that I eat for good. Coincidentally, my wife can eat anything she wants and not gain a pound, which allows her to buy any type of food that she wants.
