I was born in Taiwan, raised in the states, and now back to Taiwan. I love the food here!

For the past 2,3 years, I've been eating really badly. haha... then I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid, which makes me hungry all the time but doesn't give me any weight gain (i did't loose any weight from it though). I want to stop being so hungry and just eat healthy so I can win the battle of hyperthyroid. :D

Anyone who feels the same as me on a diet: will power fluctuates but really want to do this, please let me know so we can encourage one another!

when you exercise to get nice abs, you might get really awesome muscles underneath a layer of fat. this actually makes it harder to burn fat b/c your body will try to get rid of your muscles first. so i had a nutritionist tell me to lose weight first and then tone up... so don't forget to do your cardio with your ab toners...

i'm also trying to get my abs back... Smile

Starting GI
hey~ I just joined this site a few minutes ago and really need some tips on the GI diet. i have never heard of it and haven't dieted in a long time. i know i'll needa do some research on this diet, but i chose GI b/c i am always craving for stuff. also, i have hyperthyroid, which makes me eat a lot... i am trying to cut back on over eating... i wish all of you good luck Smile let's do this!
