I'm 31 and have hated my body for 21 years -- meaning I've always seen it as "ugly/fat/not good enough" even when I have sustained years of healthy eating and consistent exercise. I am struggling to find compassion and self love, to develop long-term healthy habits, to gain strength, to eliminate the weight I carry around my middle, and, quite frankly, look my best.
I recently injured my shoulder and am in PT/recovery, so my mobility is a little limited, but I'm hoping that mild training at the gym 2-3 times a week in addition to tracking my calories here will contribute to some near term weight loss.
