I live in the UK from Southern England born in Southampton.. Always had a struggle with weight even though I have been energetic as a Registered Nurse now retired at 56, work from home a freelance writer.. I share an apartment with my daughter and enjoy Clothes Health and Beauty tips.. I like to walk when my back permits me to and I love the Sea, love a cosy drink of Wine in front of a good Log Fire with great Company ...I like cooking and making Cakes and enjoy it... Pleases me to cook for people.. I love little children and hope I will be a Nanny one day! I love travel and am off to PARIS in July for a long weekend with my daughter.. I enjoy good male company and like to be spoilt with Flowers & Chocolates. So I have to watch my weight very closely!

diabetic meds
Metformin is okay quite a common tab for Diabetics... Atkins diet it effectively the Old Diabetic diet.. Obviously you will require Insulin synthetic or ANIMAL replacement injections depending on your Diabetic type..... You still have to stay on the Lo carb as always you might need to check with your Doc at what level your Carbs should be intake wise? ..may be the same as anyone else ..and regular tablets must be taken.

Metallic taste
Taste in the mouth..I have this metallic taste in my mouth does this mean I am in ketosis please anyone ? Not showing on the sticks think they are out of date...

has anyone else experienced this? I feel fine though... weight on the scale not budging but the clothes seem to be looser around the tum!
