Weigh in time tomorrow. Been hanging to the program pretty well this week so looking for at least 3 pounds... I'll see tomorrow.

BTW - thank you to all who have been offering the encouragement. It's very well taken and appreciated. I like the idea of 2 avocado's a day and in fact, I saw that it was a good food for the brain. My father died of Alzheimer's (terribly hurting) and I am so very worried about the same for me and the impact it would have on my wife. So... here I am.
Interesting that the reading I have done has noted that fat is important to the brain but it's the fat in avocados and olives and such. Some animal fat is ok as well. As expected fish is good, shell fish is good, peanuts and peanut butter is good... etc, etc. There was a point in time where almost all I ate was shashimi (raw fish, no rice) and I lost 65 pounds and every blood measurement there is came up perfect. I just cannot find such a place in lower Alabama - they want every thing fried... :) though I did make home made french fries in olive oil the other day... wonder if that counts? Ok -- enough free association for one night...

Too much to eat today I think. I also hate working late and then eating when I come home. My wife and I are going to move to a "Nice, France" type diet and see how that goes. With all the walking I do at work each day, I would think I would lose more weight. When I get enough money, I am going to get a FitBit HR and see if I can better track things.
Any thoughts on how better to eat at night when getting home at 10 and having previously ate at 4 p.m. Drives the blood sugar low (almost and sometimes ...hypoglycemic...) and really takes it out of me. Will be happy to hear thoughts from anyone on food and best way to proceed.

Sugar too low last night after work... 35 - Ugh... Tried to keep it up but did not work. I think somehow to make the pump to work differently during work times is the best. Need to figure that one out.
