just joined today. This looks like a really helpful site. I'm doing Low card dieting for dummies, not exactly GI diet but it was the closest thing and think the concept is pretty much the same. There are green light foods that you can eat as much you want as often as you wan. Low fat protein, and you are allowed 5 carb servings a day (aprox 15g of carbs per serving)that come from whole foods(oatmeal, whole grain bread and or tortillas, beans, legumes, rice(brown or wild preffered. I have lost almost 8 lbs since starting a week and half ago. I do not find my self being hungry or deprived at all.You dont count any carbs from fruits or veggies ( except bananas, potatoes, and a few other veggies).
